Workshops

May 23, 2019

Workshops run fortnightly throughout the year and cater to different varieties of sugar flowers.

We keep workshops intentionally intimate at a maximum of two to four people, which allows for one-on-one time in the midst of group learning. As such, our workshops are flexible and suited to all levels of experience, and you can go at a pace you’re comfortable with. We also provide drinks and morning tea to make your time at the studio even more comfortable.

Equipment

Whilst you’re welcome to bring your own materials and equipment if you’d prefer to, we supply absolutely everything for your workshop — all you need to do is show up.  We also offer a small selection of professional tools and equipment for sale at the studio so you can get serious at home, (but there’s absolutely no pressure to do this!).

Pricing

$150 per person.

Anemones - Saturday 11th March 2023  9am - 1pm

Let's revisit the gentle days of spring, as we droop through the heat of summer and create beautifully realistic anemones .  These make great mid-sized companion flowers when designing a sugar flower arrangement.  Anemones are large enough to create impact on a cake, but are delicate enough to mix in with other "Leading Lady" blooms such as roses and peonies.  Learn how to make masses of paper thin petals and master the art of their gently ruffled layers to make these fabulously delicate spring favourites.  Come and join us for this fun workshop.
